  yesterday in watchtower documents there was published "flawed decrees conceal criminals.

  barbara anderson examined the rnwt revision of lev.5:1 and revealed the wtb&ts to be deceptive as to applying it to congregation members being required to "tattle" on their brothers to expose sin.

  she shows that is just not so as lev.5:1 has nothing to do with tattling.

  @Ruby456... How are you doing??? How long have you too not been able to start threads or send private messages? I too, have asked Simon if he woud fix whatever it is that he has to fix so that I can post new topics and send PM's. I have not been able to do that since May 2017. I have not been able to give thumbs up either. What about you???

  If you are truly leaving, I will miss you and your posts.

  If I might ask, is part of the reason you are leaving is because you cannot start threads or send PM's?

  PS I won't be responding to any comment you might make to me Ruby for a few hours because it is after 2AM here on the Pacific Coast and I am trying to get sleepy but drank too much Costco coffee today. :)

  RunAwayDaughter, There is so much I would like to say to you. First, you sound like a real nice, caring and loving person and to think you and your late husband opened your hearts, home and love for these children and planned for their future education, giving them a real foundation for their future life, is fabulous of you.

  Now I would like to say something not so nice. This daughter is 18. She thinks she already knows more than you do. She thinks she is being smarter than you with all the well thought out plans you had for her and the others. She is turning her back on you, the family that has loved and nutured her. I see it as though she is laughing behind your back, possibly even getting a thrill, thinking she is hurting you. And she is right. She is hurting you.

  You are an outstanding Mom! Don't ever let anyone let you think otherwise. Now, be that as it may be, your daughter may not be who you thought she was. You nutured and helped and loved this young woman to grow up to be an outstanding citizen, and in turn to be like you, a good woman, a good wife an excellent mother. She sounds like she does not appreciate you in any way or appreciate anything that you have done for her. That is hard to accept, of course. You are not cruel. But by her actions, your daughter is cruel.

  This daughter that you thought you knew so well, you did not know at all. You had so much love to give, and, gave freely, but how was your love and care returned? Love does not hurt. Love is not cruel. You have done nothing wrong. Your daughter is at an age and the opportunity presented itself, that she could do something daring and get away from the life that she possibly detested and did not want. And she did get away and she did make you upset. And she did/does have you eating out of her hand. She possibly feels like she does have the upper hand now and you will do what she says and if you let her, she will control you. She is not who you remember her as being the sweet little girl you raised. Her true colors are becoming manifest.

  It is hard for you to cope right now, of course. This all must have come as a complete shock to you and her brothers. If you are in touch with any of her best friends, or even if you went to her high school and met privately with some of her teaches that you think might have known her well, you may get a completely different picture of your daughter then.

  May I say in the nicest way that I feel very sorry for you. It is a shock. I wish I could help in someway help you get past this stretch of the road in your life right now. It was unexpected, totally. Your dearest husband gone the year before. You must be feeling devastated.

  The relationship you had with your daughter is forever changed by her recent actions. She is screwing up her life royally. You must continue to be the great mom that you are. And you are!!! It is your daughter that has the problem and she does not really want you in her life anymore. That is hard to accept.

  this lady was at bethel in 1975 and reminisces that many women at bethel expressed enormous regret at not having a family.

  Wow. Thank you for posting. This is an excellent video. Make yourself a coffee or tea, sit back and listen for 48 minutes.

  This is an IMPORTANT view, especially for those who do not know, comprehend, understand what life as a JW up to, during and after 1975 was all about. This woman and her husband were at Bethel during 1975. They left the following year and as she states, 17 couples left the same week end they did, to hopefully start their families, putting their full time service on hold (and all of what that means in WT world).

  They knew and loved Ray Franz in Bethel. Listen as she tells you what forbidden thing, she and her husband did, that led to their waking up and leaving WT.

  PS. She also knows the 2 elders on video giving the new introduction to Bethelites, men and women aka The Pillow Gate talk.

  Wifes parents are in a bad way.

  my wife's parents are in a bad way.

  she went to visit and her mother has alzheimer and father has a hart condition.

  they are jws and he quit his job at gm many years ago for 1975. he moved to where the need was great to wait for the end.

  Your father in law quit his well paying job WITH retirement benefits before the supposed Big A coming right around the corner in 1975 and went off to help "where the need was great" knocking uninvited on strangers doors to help supposed erring ones gain salvation.

  Now that I am awake and out... all of the above sounds so crazy.

  You and I know doing what he did, scored big brownie points with his circuit overseer. I would be surprised if your father in law and his family were not trotted on stage for a few years at least to SHAME the rest of us that did not quit our job or sell our home to put Knorr, Fred Franz and their BUSINESS CORPORATION first.

  Sure I am human and understand where your wife is coming from but you and she need to put yourselves first... NOT her parents.

  Knorr, Franz and all of those other crooks... NEVER put their lives at risk for ANYONE. They rode first class all the way to their... eventual deaths. All of us will die. Did we build an empire like Knorr and Franz did? No. They told us to put their interests first. To help build up their business. Your father in law and mother in law did with their decades of life what they wanted to do. Help build Knorr's and Franz's business plan into a huge tax free corporation. Giving freely of their time and money.

  Your father in law is so far into the FOG and down the rabbit hole that he will probably have his obituary written up stating what a faithful witness to that old desert god that likes murder and rape and slavery so much... and be proud that he has stayed a steadfast fool all of these many decades.

  Have you spoken to him about these promises "Millions Now Living Will Never Die" that Knorr and Franz made that gullibly made him chose to give up so much... and follow Knorr and Fred Franz's pied piper words?

  All of your father in law's words that he tells you come from a poor brain washed man that never used his thinking and reasoning skills. Brain washed, zombie. Poor guy possibly never even knew he was attending cult introduction meetings all his life and gave up his life to go recruit more innocents for JW..org to chew up, use, and spit out.

  Yes, I can feel sorry for him and that's it.

  Crooked Teeth

  well 55 yo this summer times flies.. was in my late thirties when i started thinking about getting braces or some other treatment for my crowded teeth.

  decided to put it off a few years later as 'the new system' ™ was right around the corner.

  then went through a huge burn out depression and my teeth became a lesser priority.

  There are dentists and there are denturists. You only want to deal with a qualified specialist who does quality work. If you need dentures, ask to see the denturist's work. Before and after shots. Some are artists, some definately are not. A person who is a qualified denturist will make you look spectatular, if that is the degree of their work. If they don't care, well the worst set I ever saw, a sister smiled... and she looked like she had asked for white paino keys... and that is exactly what she got. They had no depth, just flat piano keys. Do NOT ask for white piano keys!

  Just this past week, I went into an art shop and the lady behind the till must have asked her dentist for the biggest, fattest fake teeth because that is what she got. Big rounded robust. They did not fit her face at all. They looked man size and even on a large man, they would not have been pretty or handsome.

  A good denturist will take the time to look at your facial colouring and then you together will decide on which white color to go with. There are so many different colors and depths of white. Don't just say, white.

  Do NOT say: Just make them like my old teeth... especially if your natural teeth are uneven, chipped, bad color or WORN. Yes, some adults teeth are soft and through the years, get worn down, so that when you smile... all you see is a dark hole... with no teeth showing. No teeth showing... looks like you are toothless. Not the look you want.

  Also, some people as they age, get gum recession. So if you say, Make my dentures like my old teeth, if the denturist takes you at your word (after all you are the one paying him) he will make you dentures that when you smile... all you see are white teeth with no gums. That is not natural and looks odd.

  I have witnessed a young adult man with rotten teeth, go from too embarressed to smile, and after picking the correct denturist, come out blossoming with the most beautiful smile. Afterward, he looked like a regular, handsome young man and you would never guess his teeth were false. If your dentist or denturist does not give spectacular results, before you start, go to a number of dentists and or denturists and look at their work.

  If you have a chance to read this, thank you with all my heart Deborah. I can't imagine the enormous pressure and stress you have had to deal with these past few years with your husband being so ill and then his painful death and the loneliness that followed.

  You followed through like a trooper and saw Ray's book completed and put back on the shelf for everyone to benefit from. Reading his book is what woke me up. I am forever grateful to him and now you to help fellow naive ones wake up to WT lies also.

  My sincere condolences in the death of your precious and beloved husband.

  Hugs of sympathy and concern for you in your widowhood.
